If you want to fundraise for us then that's absolutely fantastic!
We also have plenty of other ways you can help us out from the Key Lottery (who wouldn't want to win £25,000?) to donating us your empty printer cartridges.
Check out our a-z of fundraising ideas!
To help you get started we've even designed you a sponsorship form.
Please let us know if you are thinking about raising money for Key so we can offer support and advice on how to help make your fundraising a success.
Giveacar is a great way to recycle an old or unwanted car and donate to Key at the same time.
If you have an unwanted or broken-down car collecting dust in the garage, Giveacar, the nationwide car donation service, can convert it into a donation.
Here’s how it works:
Giveacar will collect your vehicle free of charge, at a time convenient for you, no matter what state your car may be in. It will then be sold at auction or scrapped, depending on its age and condition, and the proceeds will be donated to Key.
Giveacar only use treatment facilities authorised by the Environment Agency when scrapping cars, ensuring that your car will be recycled in an environmentally friendly way. At least 85% of the weight of your vehicle will be recycled, meaning that not only are you supporting the work of Key, but you are also helping to protect the environment.
If you have a car that you are thinking of getting rid of and would like to donate it to Key, please visit the Giveacar website for more details.
Play the Key Charity Lottery for a chance to win £25,000
- By playing our lottery today you will be part of our community unlocking young people’s futures
- You will also have the chance of winning up to £25,000 each week in a weekly draw
- If you play 1 chance a week, £4.34 a month, it would help us give vital information and support to someone struggling with homelessness
- If you play 2 chances a week, that’s £8.68 a month, it could go towards providing counselling sessions to young people to build their confidence
- You must be 16 or over to enter and be resident in Great Britain.
How it works
For £1 a week you will be automatically allocated a unique six digit Lottery number. This is your set of numbers that you play with for as long as you want to remain in the draw (which you can cancel at any time).
You can purchase more than one entry per week if you wish, any prize cheques you win are issued and posted directly to you, so there’s no need for you to do anything – your prize will just arrive at your door!
Winners have to match 3, 4, 5 or all 6 digits of the winning number in the correct place in the sequence.
6 digits in the correct place wins £25,000
5 digits in the correct place wins £1,000
4 digits in the correct place wins £25
3 digits in the correct place wins £5
You have a 1 in 63 chance of winning a prize and you must be 16 or over to enter and be resident in Great Britain.
How to win
The winning numbers are currently based on the first six digits of the randomly generated Australian National Lottery Super66 game. The results can be checked each week on their Lottery website.
How will this help Key?
50p from every £1 will go towards supporting vulnerable young people. So, as well as being in with the chance to win the jackpot yourself, you will be directly helping young people in need. The remaining 50p goes towards the prize fund, administration and tax costs.

If you have ever wanted to do a sky dive then here is your chance.
Key are looking for adventurous volunteers to make a fundraising parachute jump.
The best thing (apart from the excitement) is that if you raise enough money the jump will be free!
There are three types of jump available:
- Accelerated freefall - where you can experience the thrill of skydiving solo from up to 12,000 feet
- Tandem skydive - fall from 10,000 feet attached to a professional instructor
- Static line jump - performed solo from up to 3,000 feet.
You can jump from over 20 British Parachute Association approved airfields across the UK.
No experience is necessary as all training is given and if you raise from £360 (depending on the type of jump you choose) you will receive your jump for free.
If you want to give it a go or want more information then please contact us.
Do you want a challenge? Why not raise vital money for Key at the same time?
You can trek, bike, climb, ski, sled and raft the world whilst raising vital funds for us.
With over 100 departure dates to choose from, in 30 different countries, with 3 levels of difficulty, ranging from 1-18 days, there is sure to be something for you!
Did you know you could raise money by donating printer cartridges? We were surprised too!
In the UK over 2 million printer cartridges and 15 million mobile phones are thrown away each year.
Every cartridge thrown away could help a young person have a brighter future and every mobile left in a drawer could support our much needed mediation service.
To help you recycle for Key we have partnered up with a leading electronic waste management company, who are giving you the opportunity to get involved!
All we need you to do is collect empty cartridges and mobile phones instead of throwing them away (all makes apart from Epson which are not economical for anyone to recycle).
All you have to do is sign up to receive FREEPOST envelopes to send the cartridges off and you make money for us!
If you want to help us by recycling then please contact us.
Please ask for lots of envelopes and pass them around to your friends – they all have a general recycling message on them and are coded to Key.
