Kevin spent 26 years running housing advice, homelessness and ancillary services for Preston City Council until taking early retirement in 2011.
During that time more than £15 million pounds were attracted to Preston for the development of supported housing. Preston was recognised nationally for a number of best practice initiatives.
Previously Kevin worked within the Local Authority sector in Bolton and Halifax. He started his career working as a housing advice worker in the voluntary sector in London, moving to Birmingham and then West Cumbria.
Currently he is a volunteer for a national organisation (the Macular Society) and sits on an additional five local housing and community committees, in addition to Key.
